HKG embargoes passengers from 150 countries

HKG passenger embargo will cause massive delays

Hong Kong International Airport has banned passengers from over 150 countries, including the US and Britain, and territories from Jan. 16 to Feb. 15, as it deploys critical pandemic control measures to stop the spread of the COVID-19 Omicron variant. Included in this, is an increase in aircrew quarantine restrictions that will hamper the throughput of cargo in one of the busiest hubs in the world.
